Irrigation

Irrigation's filters

The water consumption in this sector is huge. The irrigation techniques aim to reduce as much as possible the quantity of water used, mainly by limiting the evaporation and atmospheric dispersion.
In all these cases gross suspended solids (usually sand), algae or organic solids must be filtrated.
Mainly well, river or lake water is used for irrigation. Recently the use of the discharged municipal water (TSE Treated Sewage Water) is becoming very diffused. The water has to be treated in order to protect the piping for the drip irrigation from clogging (as the nozzles are very tiny).
The filters used are AVC and ABV with filtration degree between 50 and 200 microns.

Application schemes

River / lake waters can contain a high SST content,
therefore in the first stage an ABV filter (200 ÷ 100µm) is generally used, capable of evacuating even large solidids without the need to use a prefilter.
In the case of taking water directly from the sea, there may be many SSTs in the water.
the most suitable filter is the ABV model (200 ÷ 100µm) capable of separating large quantities of contaminants, even large ones.
